Title of book:  The Butterfly Lion Author: Michael Morpurgo Genre: Children's Story Characters: Bertie,Millie,The White Prince Setting: Timbavati in Africa , England and France Summary: The book is about a boy named Bertie who lives in Africa and the story about his best friend who was taken away by a circus owner who lives in France. Then his parents send Bertie too a boarding school all the way in England. He escapes from the boarding school and meets Millie he tells her all about Africa and his lion . They decided too meet up every Sunday. A few years later Bertie is sent into world war two. His leg was badly injured so he was sent to hospital.a few weeks later Millie was reading the newspaper and saw that Bertie was in hospital.So she decided to search all hospitals finally she found him they deiced to do their long walks they used to do. They would walk to the cafe one day they were walking when Bertie saw a poster that said the white Prince  Bertie ran too t

Our visit to the Sinai Academy

Last week we visited the Sinai Academy in Bloubergrant. It was a very fun to be at a Jewish church [ synagogue ] when we arrived the boys were given kippahs. And were separated from the girls the Rabbi was talking about the Jewish religion then we read some of the Jewish bible and prayers after that they took us to the senior primary and the kids there put on a little show for us telling us about shabbat and shabbat is when the Jewish people go off electronics on a Friday evening 8 minutes before sunset the mother lights the candles with the children and when everyone arrives they eat bread,drink wine or grape juice and sing shabbat songs with friends and family until Saturday evening . It teachers us that to enjoy every second of our life they also sang shabbat songs to us and we ate some very yummy bread :3

The grade 4 camp

Last week we were on camp. We went to.... Giraffe House we saw snakes,warthogs,frogs and other animals we fed goats and ostrich's.we also saw  zebras they were so cute . the teachers got us ice- cream . it was delicious my tongue got stuck on it . then we got back on the bus to go to camp Jordan talked way to much with josh it was like having to talking two year old. In 30 mins we got to camp we were so happy . We went to our dorms to unpack our bags. I was in a dorm with... Morgan,Mbali,Grace. we started our journey with building forts. It was a mission to find a group so we joined Jordans group, then we broke down our fort and joined the E team and we built and built and built until we were complete. Then we moved on to decorating. we made a garden and everything. .then it was dinner time  Then we went to bed then morning came we did lots of activities we went on a night hike it was so awesome we went back to cam,p and had a mummy fight  we lost by a lot we went back to bed i w
